We'll see, but call me skeptical. These things happen from time to time (remember Vista?), and the most common attitude seems to be that Linux is going to reap some windfall from Windows users frustration, without having to do anything. And when it doesn't happen, nobody considers if Linux needs to change to benefit from these events. Instead, there's just as much hype for the next one. This time, we'll get the users!

I think something like SerenityOS or Haiku have a better chance of someday capturing users from these Windows mistakes than Linux ever does. Yeah, really.
