Show HN: I just launched Frames, a note app for Analog Photographers
withframes.comFrames is a simple app for analog film photographers to log shot details like camera, lens, film stock, exposure settings, and notes while shooting. Later, it can embed this metadata into scanned JPEGs to keep the technical and creative context of each frame.
The iPhone app lets you record notes in the field, and the companion Mac app helps attach metadata to your digital scans. There's no cloud storage — everything stays local. The iPhone app is free, and the Mac app has a 7-day trial.
I built Frames because I wanted a lightweight, privacy-first tool to bridge the gap between analog shooting and digital archiving. It's designed for anyone shooting 35mm, medium format, or large format film who wants to organize and preserve their work better.

Happy to hear feedback!
Your landing page (unless it's broken) it's sabotaging all of your chances of success.
- White text on a light gray background (contrast issues)
- Text set to align justify (impossible to read)
- One H1 tag with the app description + link (bad semantics)
Content wise:
- Besides the brief description, it has zero info about the app
- You provided more info about the app here than in your landing page
- The links to the app store / ios store are below the fold (I have to scroll to see them)
